The Alliance Française of Kampala, established in 1954, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cultural and linguistic exchanges between France and Kampala.

Its primary mission is to teach the French language and promote arts and culture. The organization offers a structured learning progression, helping students achieve both personal and professional goals.

The Alliance Française supports its community members, artists, and students by creating a platform for cultural dialogue.

Located at Plot 52, Bukoto Street in Kamwokya, near Acacia Mall, the Alliance Française is situated in a vibrant area with numerous shops, hotels, restaurants, and businesses.

In 2021, the organization added a concert space and opened Café Déjà Brew. It is part of a network of 126 Alliances Françaises across Africa and maintains strong connections with neighboring Alliances Françaises in Nairobi, Mombasa, Addis Ababa, and Dar es Salaam.
